What fits your Ricoh GR
Compatibility on the GR line is unusually easy to get wrong. The filter thread is 49mm on every current body — but the adapter that carries it is different on each one, and Ricoh states in writing that they are not interchangeable. Batteries and memory cards changed with the GR IV too.
By category
- Lens adapters (4) — The part people get wrong. Model-specific, and Ricoh says so explicitly.
- Filters (1) — Every current GR takes 49mm filters — through the right adapter.
- Batteries (3) — DB-110 or DB-120. They do not interchange.
- Memory cards (2) — Full-size SD on the GR III/IIIx, microSD on the GR IV.
- Chargers (3) — Matched to the battery, not the body.
- Viewfinders (3) — Optical, hot-shoe mounted, frame lines matter.
- Conversion lenses (3) — Wide or tele, each needing its own adapter.
- Cases (3) — Official leather cases fit across both generations.
- Straps (3) — Hand, finger and neck options.
- Flash (2) — The GF-2, and the firmware caveat on older bodies.
What the labels mean
Ricoh says so means Ricoh states the compatibility outright — or states that something does not fit. The rest appear on that camera's official accessory page without a direct statement either way. Parts do not carry over between models just because they look like they should, which is how most people end up with the wrong one.
